Do You Value Your Birthright?

The dictionary tells us that a birthright is: "a right or privilege that you are entitled to at birth". Your birth certificate shows you have a special right and a privilege in this life. You are also free to choose. You can exercise this right, or you can ignore it and live a life of second best. What is this right?

You have the right and the privilege to live your life as a champion.

How does your birth certificate give you this right? It is proof that you have already won the first race of your life, and against millions. You were born a champion!

So your birthright is your championship!

You are entitled to live your life on this earth as a champion.

In the midst of all of the celebrations, the decorations, the baking and the purchase and exchanging of gifts, it is so easy to forget the REAL reason for this season. We are celebrating a miracle. The miracle of the birth of Christ. Christ, the Son of God humbled Himself to live on this earth, He died and He rose again! Because HE lives, we (you and I) shall live also. One of the very strong statements made by the Son of God (who's birth we celebrate at this time of the year) is found in John 10:10.

We have established that you and I were born to be champions. We have also noted that our champion spirit needs to come alive and be developed. Now let's look at this a little closer: You were born with a purpose, a destiny. What is this purpose and destiny?

Your true destiny is to become a successful champion and make a difference in the lives of all who come in contact with you.

Are you living your purpose? There are really three answers to this. You are either living your purpose completely, to a degree or perhaps not at all. Do you really WANT to follow your destiny? Of course you do! Some of the things you feel in your heart are a part of your destiny may seem impossible to you at the moment. The good news is that you CAN fulfill your destiny! It IS possible for you to reach your dreams!

This is a great question. Yes you were born a champion (see Born a Champion), but you may not be winning in life. Perhaps you are not actually experiencing the life of a champion. Why?
