I forgive youIn the last article we considered the positive power of memories.

It can be encouraging, uplifting and simply a joy to recall those wonderful experiences in our lives, or even the more difficult ones as we recall the victories that followed.

We also considered ways in which a positive memory could turn negative. This can happen especially if you are going through a more barren phase of live right now and so you end up wishing for the good old days.

Memories are not for wishing:

We all have memories, some good and some not so good right?

The other day when I saw one of these little Mini Coupers parked near a mall area I was visiting, I could not help but remember my Grandfather.

No, he did not own a Mini Couper, but he did consider it. The only problem was Grandad was over 6ft tall and rather broad boned. He got into a brand new Mini to test drive it and got stuck!

Of course we all laughed when we found out about it.

And of course, every time I see a Mini (which is not all that often here in Texas) it brings back a happy memory to my mind.

This is too muchChampions are always looking for ways to keep themselves in top form so they can be their best.

David and GoliathHow much fear do you think that David might have felt when he first heard about Goliath’s threats and the army of Israel’s terrorized reactions?

David was just a young lad when he was faced with this challenge, yet he was able to do what the entire army of Israel put together could not.

What was his secret?

In order to REALLY appreciate his secret, lets reconsider exactly what David was facing. David was sent by his father to take some lunch to his brothers. His brothers were out fighting the Philistines along with the rest of the army of Israel.

At least that is what they were supposed to be doing!

Mountain Boarding Requires SkillWe have been considering the reality that you and I are personally responsible for our own lives.

Every choice you make and every action you take either contributes to building a mindset of faith or a mindset of fear.

This means that yours and my future depends on the choices we make each day and the consequent actions we take. Your daily choices will lead you achieve your dreams or not.

This is where so many Christians lose out on achieving the fullness of the plan God has for them. Many do not really accept this responsibility for their future, and often leave their minds in limbo (passivity). This will open you up to the default mindset of this world, which is the FEAR mindset.
