You may think that's strange question. How desperate am I for what, you might be saying?

How desperate are you to achieve what your dreams? We all have dreams and aspirations in life, but not everyone achieves their dreams, Why? Some people will tell you, "you either have it or you don't", in other words we are ruled by some sort of pre-destination. Nope, that is not true.

Time for another story!

This happened in the State of Oaxaca, Mexico in a small village.

We had been invited to a village close to San Pedro Chindua, Oaxaca. I always had 1-2 girls with me who were helping and training. One of the girls had to look after her nephew who was at the time between 3-4 years old, so he was with us also.

I am not sure if you believe in Divine Intervention or not, but there are some things that happen to us in life that I cannot explain any other way. Here's one of my experiences.

My mother was a motor mechanic during the second world war, During this time all of the working age women had to fill the vacancies in the work force left by the men who had been drafted for the war. The options that my mother had were to work in a hospital which she could not face, or in an auto garage which was more attractive to her. So she became a very good mechanic.

Not too long ago, I went into my local bank to make a deposit. As usual, I did not have my account number with me, and gave the teller my SSN so they could find my account.

The teller did the search on the computer and then asked: Is this Jill or Maria? What? Maria? I don't know a Maria. But she had an account open in MY bank with MY SSN! I had to go and get a letter from the SSN department to prove I am me :) and then take it back to the bank and of course the other account was promptly closed. Most likely my SSN was sold to an illegal alien. Phewl.
