This evening I had the privelege of being able to attend our local Jazz Festival where none other than Dave Brubeck was featured. Being a jazz fan, I have several of his albums but never really expected to ever get to see him in person. It was a neat experience.

There is a new game out today (a Star Wars Game), and of course there are reviews all over the net. Tweeps are twittering about “The Force Unleashed”, blogs are posting about it.
Some like the game, others are disappointed. Yet Star Wars has been a popular series for many years, and when a new episode or game is brought out, of course the fans want to see it.
Hurricane Ike has passed, leaving some folk relieved, but many more facing the terrible impact of the damage and the challenge of where to start first to pick up the pieces of their lives. Depending on the extent of the individual loss, emotional reactions will vary, but all will experience at least some degree of pain.
The whole world sympathizes as they watch the devastation of the hurricanes and other natural disasters destroying the lives of so many. News travels at jet speed as it is relayed through the internet via the new social media networks such as twitter.
