Are You Building A Faith Mindset Or A Mindset Of Fear?

mountainboard Are You Building A Faith Mindset Or A Mindset Of Fear?We have been considering the reality that you and I are personally responsible for our own lives.

Every choice you make and every action you take either contributes to building a mindset of faith or a mindset of fear.

This means that yours and my future depends on the choices we make each day and the consequent actions we take. Your daily choices will lead you achieve your dreams or not.

This is where so many Christians lose out on achieving the fullness of the plan God has for them. Many do not really accept this responsibility for their future, and often leave their minds in limbo (passivity). This will open you up to the default mindset of this world, which is the FEAR mindset.

You have to combat fear with an ACTIVE mind.

Loren Cunningham shares statistics:
Many years ago I heard Loren Cunningham, the founder of Youth With A Mission, say that only 5% of CHRISTIANS ever reach their full potential. Now we are talking about people who have ACCESS to the power of God by which to live their lives. (John 1:!2).

Yet, so many still do not reach their full potential in life!
They do not reach their dreams. Why?

The apostle Paul gave us the secret when he spoke about renewing your mind in his Epistle to the Romans (Chapter 12 and verses 1-2).

Daily Bombardment of Information – Mostly Negative
Our minds receive millions of pieces of information every day, though all of our five senses. However YOU (and I) are placed in charge of filtering this information. A high percentage of the information from this world is negative.

You have a free will and consequently the RESPONSIBILITY to decide what information goes into your subconscious mind (to become a part of your mindset) and what information you will toss out.

The responsibility is YOURS. If you are not alert to filter all of the information that comes your way, the default is a contaminated and confused mind.

Why a contaminated mind?
This world is strongly negative. This means that of all of the pieces of information your brain picks up each day, a high percentage is negative and fear based.

This is why it is imperative that you take the responsibility to filter this information so that the negative does not enter into your subconscious mind.

Remember God has given you the power, authority and right to make these decisions and act on them. (See John 1:12 and Can Christians Have A Negative Mindset?)

Every action or reaction you make each moment of each day is a result of a decision that YOU make.

Your daily actions will either contribute to building a mindset of fear
or a mindset of faith. You choose.

Again, remember God gave you the power to become His mature son or daughter (see again John 1:12). He gave you all you need to reach this place of maturity and the abundance that goes with it. But He also gave you the freedom of choice.

How to build a STRONG filtering system in your life.

  • Read the Bible every day. Take what you learn and talk it over with God. Apply what you learn.
  • Read at least 10-12 pages of a good motivational, inspirational or challenging non fiction book every day.
  • Listen to good teaching from great teachers who challenge you to build your faith and create a strong positive mindset.
  • Read or listen to information that will train and inform you in the area of your life passion, dreams and goals. You need to develop the skills you will need to achieve your dreams. This requires daily training.
Be sure to do this EVERY day.
